Curtains
How do I measure for Curtains?
- It is always best to fit your track or curtain pole before taking your measurements.
- For accuracy we advise that you use a metal measuring tape.
-
Always double check your measurements.

If you are using a track with an overlap, measure the total length of the track – A, measure the overlap – B, then add A and B together. This figure is your curtain width.

If you are using a track or a pole you need two measurements: 1. The eye drop: Measure from the track eye (where your curtain hook attaches) to where you want the bottom of the curtains to finish
2. The heading height: Measure from the track eye (where your curtain hook attaches) to where you would like the top of the curtain to finish. (for tracks, we suggest a heading height just above the track; for poles, we suggest a heading height of 2cms upwards depending on your taste; please note that your curtains will hang better with a small heading height;)
Add the two measurements together. This figure is your curtain drop.
